OP, in my 1 year on the server, i think this is the first time i really can read what bothers you .. not those small posts "i request from the community this, this and this" .. in compaer with what you have written now, all that was a big bulshit..
i kinda understand you: you dont want to bother others with your own personla problems and ways how you solve them because you dont feel well after that ... same here ... but in order to keep it what you have created, you must be open (like with this post you made now)
on the meeting you said that you will resign from everything because .. many reason you made - not enough money for the server (and something about not being happy with community) ...
also ... in order to keep the community, we all must sacrifise something --- usually those are our nervs and time ... time is what we all have (more or less), but nearvs -- thats the tricky part
if we all see how things work around here and the rules : they are quite simple --- "have fun, dont put others in danger when you have fun and let the others have fun also" (this was very basicly, i know)
--- also, in one point you were right --- usually players come here because of the mod,a nd not the community .. but how did the ever first players come here ? they were looking for the FL mod (maybe there were few exceptions that were looking a place where to live their second live, but not many) ... and when those newbies see how this mod great is, they will decide to stay ... and if the mod gets even beter, they'll stay even longer .. THIS is how the community is made ... of course, you players will come, but also older players will sometimes have to leave ... i know that most of your friends stay here and talk with you and that you keep your friendship .. but sometimes are paths just going in the different ways , and you cant stop it ... its said, but its the way of the real life ...
also, players who already decided to give up from the server, im pretty sure they already left past weeks, months ... all we who stayed and are visiting this forum every day are willing to keep this community alive ... but, like in every community, even this one MUST has a damn leader ... leader is what we needs .. you was so many times already disapointed, but its quite simple: first you ask help from those you believe are here to help the community and are OLD players, and then you ask the newbies ... yu know that i asked you about moddings and you helped me .. and i thank you for that ...
and one last thing: by offering the others mods to evolve on this portal (and i think on FL mods) you made a big mistake .. by this action, you offered ALL cf clans an opportunity to leave this mod and check out the others ... i know hat you will probabdly say no "inferno, you didnt understand anything. mod isnt important, its the community" .. but, by offering the players and clans to skip to another server, you opened a posibility in their minds that their are another mods on the world and that they dont have to stay here ... that this community wont mean anythin special to them... and with less players, community gets weaker ... this is SWAT community .. with CrossFire Freelancer mod .. and Warcraft, SL, etc, etc ...
in order to have it unique there should be only 1 mod/section for 1 game .. and not multiservering the same mod . because on mod is surely going to die (thing with SirEx .. but its the question now, WHICH one is having problems now) ...
