Ok, so I've checked everywhere else and did not see this issue posted so...here's my story:

I had to reload Freelancer/Crossfire because I thought I screwed something up in the options for the graphics. Maybe it doesn't recognize SLI (I have NVidia cards). Ok, no problem. I'll just do a clean install of everything for Freelancer Crossfire. Follow the directions...mess up on a step. Screwed up. Did this three more times and on the third time, I had chosen my mod options but FORGOT TO RESTART and a file was missing...so I had to do ANOTHER fresh install. (Yes, I felt like an idiot at this point) But now that I followed everything to the letter and I go to activate, I now have no Mod Options to choose. No cursor choosing or Trent outfit choosing. It just goes straight through activation right to the launcher. Help! What did I not do right?

I like the look of what 88 Flak does. But I wasn't sure if it was compatible with Crossfire 1.9. I did a search here but couldn't find anything answer wise. Is Crossfire 1.9 compatible with 88 Flak? Would love to use the wingman option. Thanks!

Assuming direct control.....

Ok, I had to take a few minutes out of playing Freelancer Crossfire 1.9 to say that what the developers/modders have done is....I honestly can barely get the words out the game is so breathtakingly gorgeous. The look...the sounds...the realism (as it where for Freelancer). I have never felt such love for the game after doing the first few missions in Crossfire (though I had to start from the beginning *laughs*). Everything looks FANTASTIC!

Thank you guys for putting such hard work into the game to make it sooooooo amazing. Please continue the hard work you are doing. *Big hugs to all!...and some cookies*

Hey all. Just wanted to pop in and say "Hi". Old time gamer here who loves the space sim genre. Freelancer to me still looks beautiful to this day even though its over a decade old. I also play games like DarkStar One and I have yet to get that damn FSO for Freespace 2 working right. I'm not very tech savvy but I know my way around enough to replace parts on the computer when needed. Not much of a PvP'er but I am a roleplayer and have written fanfiction for games like Mass Effect. Anywho, glad to meet ya'll.
