just to answer ur question:
new members of BG will be tested during the trial
time... so BG can decide if they fit into the team... if they are good enough for the clan
and if they are active players
if the trial time is over BG will have to make a
decision about them... full member or kick these guys out of the clan (only a few of the
trials managed to become a full member of BG)
the trial time is also a protection for
BG... the origin of the clan is a game called Starlancer and there one of the SWAT-clans
(the MoD) had a terrible clanwar with another clan
this other clan tried to place spiesinto MoD and SWAT
and in the last 2 years of Freelancer we have seen too many fakesrunning around so we kept up the trial
time

thats r server which run mods which have edited serverfiles
u need the correct mod
to play there... these mods are heavy editions to the normal Freelancer and mostly unstable
(they use the new version number to prevent server crashs)
i could do the same with
the crossfire server but the crossfire mod has a very clean code and doesnt need something
like this
