yep, one opinion
my opinion is very different from that when I look at how many different components have to be compatible, the support and most important the possibility to do upgrades without losing data.Yeah and i disagree. now you have to pay a lot of euros to a company (400+ euro ?) but i am convinced there are cheaper solutions out there
regardless, i want to contribute and just made a donation. hope it helps a bit.

This is why i advice against using proprietary solutions. you are dependent on a company
but thats only one opinion

RDV is just bored and wants some action. i can understand him in that regard.
On average there are like 7 players on the server, peak time 20 at max.
i can understand why he is bored, RP is almost non-existent.
the only solution is having more players, but that's impossible, since everyone goes to discovery.

tl;dr
you can try your luck fighting against us in space, but it's likely you will not see a single penny. xD -
Topkek.
Edit: Lol

no need to fret, the banning happens quite often recenly, the anticheat got paranoid in my case too

The problem is roberts focuses on so many small details that the average gamer barely notices, thus finishing the game takes 10 times longer.
also, the price. i rather donate monthly to the cf server (if i had paypal...) than paying 200 dollars for a single ship. that's like GTA V asking me where i have to pay 200 real life dollars for one car. what the fuck man.
star citizen is simply a no-go for me. bloated, too many costs, too long deliver a "full" game (prolly never or in 10 years). a game should deliver lore, online/co-op interaction and a sandbox to play within. boom, that's it.
look at freelancer. we have everything we need here, the only problems being 1: we have no sourcecode 2: outdated engine

Update for those who may stumble upon this Thread: CF works in Wine 2.9 if you copy the files from a virtual machine, however it will fail to find a server, will try to dig what's going wrong.
For those who use GNU/Linux: Install CF on a VMWare Win7 Virtual Machine, the game will run at full speed if you install the VMWare tools driver
