  • DC's 5th Year!!!

    Yep thats right ppl, you are reading the title correctly...... DC is now 5yrs old still going :D And what a fantastic few yrs its been..... Seen the clan form, witnessed other clans come and go, witnessed hundreds of ppl play, leave, come back play again, server wars, flames wars, just plain old fashion wars and multible attacks against OP, SWAT and all members, yet DC still stands firm here on CF. Even way back when CF was still a mere infant 1.3, DC was here :D
    Now as we look forward into the future, it is my hope that DC will still be here till the day OP turns out the lights :D and that we are all still here together (if only to complain about how much time we've all been playing together) ;)


    So, I personally would like to thank OP for not only allowing us use of his utter brill MOD (may he create more) but also for all the surpport and help both he and his fellow BG team have lent to DC over the course of many years, But also a big thanks to all DC members past and present and also to all of those many other fantastic ppl who have helped create and maintain what is no doubt the best and closest community online.

    Well have now installed Win7 Ultimate RC on to my HP laptop (low power Sempron inside) and have it up and running. I agree with you OP it is a lot less frustating than vista ever was, with smooth screens and more power returned back to computer where Vista sucked it all up.
    I have now been able to install a few of my old XP programs back onto it without any real problems, with the exception of 1. my built in webcam (will scout for possible working drivers later) and 2. Call of Duty2 will not even make it on to install screen!!! even though CoD and CoD-UO went straight through without and issues.


    But overall, i am impressed with it as a whole and maybe, just maybe, MS have finally made up for the fuck-up that was Vista, that itself was the biggest cock up since Win2000 was released :D

    Not sure if this has been suggested before, but why not send in details and pics of CF1.8 into PC gaming mags?? most have MOD sections in mags and if you get a print up there, then u def will see a increase in peoples interest in FL rise.

    Well thats both understandable and reasonable. But let me just say OMFG!!! OP it just looks better and better all the time. The new StarSphere's add real depth to the system's and makes them seem much more beliviable. (to my eye's anyway) :D
