I began my new pirate life in 1.61 but actually I cannot leave NY (passing the system gates I mean, the hidden one too) without avoiding my PC to crash. Install instruction followed. SDK installed after I had the first crash but it did not helped. I respawned 150K the first time out of Houston, the second time out of Manhattan (I had to try again...).
No problem when entering Bering by the way but hope to try other gates tonight...MS Windows XP SP2

well I tested few times if it was really the software connection to miscrosoft which could cause the problem. no crash, no lags so far. So maybe it's been just a coincidence.

I hope it is just a fake problem. CF window just got down when windows defender tried to connect to spynet. then i got CF windows up again but red lags appeared and bye bye connection....

well. it depends if you have the enemy target at the right distance and on its way to you. everything help in battle/melee.

in the future.....what about a shell that gives 9M for a 90 rank or 7M for a 70rank kill (only 90 rank vs 90rank etc.... rules could be applied for ex only clan vs clan and fl vs fl. and what about traders.....mmm...escort). I think that in this case CF will be a real pvp dome[78]

I think everybody is aiming at a target (when talking about ship) especially if he's fond of BS. By the way let's keep in mind the role BS have on CF and the use a FL can practically do of it. Personally I use my BS when i wanna look at it (great ship the Osiris) and get some pod that I cannot sell[665]

I reply for the second time just cause i think this is a good idea from my point of view.
I like pvp and consequently I like to tax ppl and have some action. May I underline that this change is a sort of tax? Everybody got it on his head (and everybody will prefer to fight instead of paying 100.000[84]
But this is just an oppurtunity to improve the roleplay. I do not attack all the BG or freelancers I see around just because I'm a pirate. I can have other business or just in a bad mood for fighting because it's early morning [2] . The same will be for this new chance. The player who wanna get it is free to doing so -
OP is right when he says that clan are expected to play in a fair way. This means a bigger responsability on clan leaders.
I like the idea of the "bounty", cause it is a sort of bounty on every high level rank. Good for me. Traders will actually need and escort now [10] -

OK for both the splash and the space flight dynamics. It will be interesting to see pilots pushing the "brake" for a counter attack and find themself flying at -150 speed from the enemy[40]
If new dynamics will be introduced everybody on CF should revise some combat strategy....... -
Actually I do not think you made a huge mistake.
Of course you should know some planet to planet trading route but exploring is one of the CF part that I liked most when freelancing. And when you find it.....huge earnings:D
