Results for Wheel-of-Sirius-BS-Assault on 09.03.2014

I changed the location to WoS. The players agreed, that Wheel of Sirius is much better for this event than Arena or Colosseum.
The battleships (2 dreadnoughts) were allowed to fly between Planet Death and the ring construction, not above or below.
We made 3 fights, all won of the same team.

Prizes were: 20 mill for each member of winning team and 10 mill for the others.

In my opinion this was a nice event, most players agreed. This system provides interesting tactics, let's see, how it develops

95th airborne brigade leaves in Zhytomyr
Ukrainian air defense guns on the road

if that is true, we will get serious problems. i have heard, there are 20.000 heavy armed foreign mercenaries now in Ukraine. it looks as if they want to repeat, what they made with Syria.

the choice is between 1. getting more autonomy from Ukraine and 2. becoming part of Russia. however the result is, the remaining part of Ukraine will lose and Russia wins. what i am afraid about is, that the new "government" of Ukraine will attack Crimea then. there are several reasons, why they will:
- Crimea is just the first example, other areas in eastern Ukraine will follow
- without the eastern part the remaining Ukraine is economical bankrupt, nothing left but agriculture, so per definition a third world country
- the new "government" is supported by western countries, financially, politically and military and feels save in whatever it does
- it is a big wish of the NATO to minimize the military capabilities of Russia. when Russia keeps its port in Sevastopol, the whole Ukrainian mission failed. that's why the confrontation will be pushed from outside by any means.
