    thx for coming

actually i am not the one flying around and checking all ships about their stats and trying them out. but i like your ideas here and hope, that OP will take some of them into account.

about the lexicon articles here on SWAT Portal i could help. just provide me with the correct data and i can edit the articles.

editing the ship info cards in game is probably up to OP.

‚We can give you a new arm and leg‘ Dennzio remembered 2 weeks later, when he looked at his new arm. It was not really an arm. It was a tiny thing, looking like a pink slug. And the leg … he tried to avoid any thoughts about the new small leg beside his … you know. ‚With this growing speed it needs 2 months to have a real arm‘ he thought.

He expected some mechanical prostheses as he would have got everywhere in Sirius. But these Renaissance doctors just activated the growth of the new limbs by some special bioelectrical stimulation (or however they called it) of the affected material. OK, that’s only the half story. ‚The morphogenetical field, surrounding and connecting every living being, knows what your body should look like‘ he remembered Robis translation of the doctor’s explanation, who attended his awakening. (The other man was a Major of the Renaissance military, as Dennzio was told meanwhile.) ‚That’s why we were not able to recover your limbs when you were in coma. You have to attend the recovery with special spiritual practices. First you have to find yourself and then the field will find your limbs.‘ It sounds easier than it was. But it was easier than expected. Dennzio smiled again.

Then he looked to the clock on his terminal. „Oh damn, it’s late“ he said, angry about himself because of this lasting meat inspections. ‚But hey. You don’t see a new arm growing out of your shoulder every day.‘ he thought and picked his black T-Shirt. Then he wote a short message:

    > Sorry Robi, i’ll be late.

‚At least i have excuses with my handycaps.‘

    > No problem!

was her prompt answer. ‚Yeah. But you know, what it means, when a woman says no problem‘ he thought and laughed.

„OK go, Wheely!“ he said to the autonomous wheel chair. It asked with very polite voice and cute accent „What is the destination, monsieur Almany?“ „Hangar 3.“ Robina Bourdon followed his wish and asked the Major to take him to another station and today was the time to leave this hollow rock. Arles was a nice piece of technology, at least from the inside … and considering the lack of nearly everything in these systems. But looking out of a window was depressing. The Ardennes cloud was dark, very dark, ugly dark. The only change were incoming and leaving ships with their propulsions. Seldom some Nomads entered the perimeter and it was always spectacular when the station’s cannons did their work taking them down. No, Dennzio won’t miss Arles, except maybe the music in the bar.

sorry, mea culpa. i thought DS17 was meant as interclan base with restricted access to a few freelancers participating in constructing the base (8? years ago). but u are right. we can be happy about each individual still playing this great game.

the problem is, freelancers have access to the shipdealer on DS17 and that was not really the purpose of DS17. maybe we can delete this module? the ship dealer was the 3rd upgrade. what happeens, if we delete it? will we keep all other upgrades? maybe Huor could answer this question.

The next day Dennzio sat in a wheel chair at a window. The canteen was not very full, but he felt a lot of eyes directed at him. His eyes were on Robina Bourdon. She was reading some of his logfiles on a small tablet and suddenly she said „Noooo! Really? Aliens? You really have found more Aliens? We’ve thought the Nomads are the scourge of our galaxy.“ „Indeed, Nomads are an annoyance, but we’ve learned to deal with them. In fact there are Alien factions much more dangerous. The war with them already lasted for years and i should return to Sol to contact my people. I left them in a critical situation. My scout mission was scheduled just for one week and meant to be a small vacation. They will think i’m dead.“ „Denny, it’s not up to you or me to decide when or whether you can return to Sol. From our point of view, it is impossible. Many of our pilots have tried to go back to Sol and we’ve never heard something from them.“ „Just give me a good ship and weapons and …“ He noticed her look at his missing arm and continued calmly „well, with some modifications …“. She smiled. „Denny, we don’t have a luxury life here with Nomads regularily attacking our stations and vessels. But from this we’ve learned a lot about artificial limbs. We can give you a new arm and leg, but this needs time. Meanwhile we would like to learn everything you know about fighting Nomads, tactics and related things.“ „Fair enough. You saved my life.“ He smiled and continued „But first, i’m hungry. What would you suggest to eat. „Oh that’s easy.“ she smiled back „Today is origin day in this canteen: Blue mold cheese, white baguette and red wine. It‘s our famous national meal. It reminds us from where we come. Okay, it’s not really cheese and not a real baguette … and even the wine is not a wine.“ She laughed. „But we managed to synthesize all kinds of tastes.“ “Sounds interesting“ said Dennzio while in the same time some memory snippet about one special delicious taste flashed into his brain and faded away faster than a Dragonfly on cruise speed.

    „Monsieur Almany?“

    „Monsieur Almany?“

Dennzio Horatius Almanys consciousness was a black grey cloud, slowly illuminating into dark grey. Twitching flashes exploded his head with every single word coming from a world somewhere outside.

    „Il se réveille“

Words without any meaning for him appeared as blue mold cheese, white baguette and red wine, all mixed into one ridiculous delicious taste on his tongue. For Dennzio nothing else exists at this moment, just this taste.

    „Monsieur Almany!“

Another flash, igniting a universe of unlimited possibilities extinguished the taste. Dennzios consciousness was everywhere and everytime at the same time. He was the baby, the young boy playing with Lego space crafts, the noob working his first missions for the Bounty Hunters Guild, the husband of Sara and Nadya, the father of Jamal and Lina, the strong leader of a mighty mercenary clan and the old man herding sheep on planet New Mekka, all at the same time. A silent wisper tells ‚With every day of your life, a part of you dies. With every part that dies, a new one will be born.‘ Then he decided to switch back. Back to the strong one he once was. And the strong one he will be again. He opened his eyes.

„Hello“ he said with strong german accent. Two middle aged men and a tall woman with long black hairs looked at him and then at each other. „Where am i?“ he asked. „Welcome back, monsieur Almany.“ said the woman with a cute accent and continued „You are on our Arles space station. May i ask you, what is your last memory?“ „Arles station? Never heard of it. I was on a scout mission in Sol. There were rumors about a jumphole inside an asteroid field and a huge award for the one who finds it. I think, i am the lucky one.“ He smiled and wanted to scratch his head. His left hand refused to follow his wishes. So he took his right hand. „Yes, you were lucky. We’ve found your escape pod in Luyten, the next system from here. The life support of the pod was damaged and you were severely injured. We’ve found some substances in your blood very similar to THC and CBD and we think, that saved you, since these substances seem to relax the muscles and breathing. A few moments later we were not able to reanimate you.“ Dennzio laughed and said „Hell yeah, Danzel wasn’t right. Cardamine saved my life!“

One of the men talked to the woman in a language Dennzio didn’t understand. She looked at him and said „Monsieur Almany. I‘m sorry to tell you, but this was 8 years ago. You have been in coma.“ Dennzios smile went out. ‚8 years‘ he thought and wanted to scratch his head again. The left hand still refused to work. He looked at it but found … nothing. „Monsieur Almany, as i said before, you were severely injured. You lost your left arm and your right leg.“ Seconds of silence. Then he smiled again „Well, this reminds me about a bad joke. However, i’m really lucky, that it was not my right arm. 8 Years, huh?“ „Yes. In the beginning we’ve had difficulties to decrypt your logfiles. I was asked to assist.“ „I thought you are the nurse.“ „Monsieur Almany, i am specialized in old Earth languages. Imagine my surprise when i found out, that it was a plain english i had to deal with. We’ve thought we were the only survivors of mankind.“ „In fact you can find humans all over Sirius, Altair and Sol. We’ve even established outposts in parts of the galaxy you’ve never heard of.“ he said vigorously. Her eyes opened wide and then she translated the new information for the two men. They started a small disputation, then suddenly interrupted and looked at Dennzio. „Monsieur Almany, we think it’s better for you to relax and process your situation. We will talk later. „Yeah, good idea. Just one question. What is your name?“ „My name is Robina Bourdon. And since we’ll spend a lot of time here together, you can call me Robi.“ She smiled. „Fine Robi, and i’m Denny.“ He offered his remaining hand and smiled as well.

just a small update: it worked fine

i just had to restart some missions because of broken mission points (or whatever the problem was).

i found the side mission in Sol, went to the Renaissance and took the Vulcain, a nice ship, and finished the whole campaign withit.

btw. are there any other side missions to discover, like maybe in omega 3?

however, a really nice work you have done with this mod :salutes
