It draws close. One of the gems that Nintendo was stripped off years ago, is about to return. Its had a PS release, and was followed up by a somewhat graphically stunning sequel. Soon it shall return. Solid Snake is coming home, and he's doing it big style.
In March 2004, Metal Gear Solid : Twin Snakes shall be released exclusively on the Nintendo Gamecube. It has the masterpiece storyline of the series' first big console hit (Metal Gear Solid), and the graphics, and moves of the sequel (Metal Gear Solid : Sons of Liberty). You might expect this to just create an old game with a graphical face lift, but that is not so. More on this when I get a playable version...

I'm getting a lot of work at school at the moment, with the build up to my final GCSE exams in a few months. Its all a rush to cover all the syallabus and get all coursework in on time. This means I am going to have less time to write reviews and what not on the forum, but I will try and play and review some more in the near future.

The babes, the cars, the music. That is what its all about. After growing up in the world with Fast and Furious has made the new generation mad about fast hardcore driving games. Burnout was released and a follow up as well and it satisfied speed freaks, but for the gamers that were truly after the full illegal street racing experience, Burnout was somewhat lacking. NFSU, satifies this thirst. This racing game is gold.
EA have done another fantastic job. The game is a visual treat as soon as you switch the console on. This shocked me as I was playing the PS2 version, but it was true. The graphics were fantastic. The city landscape moves slicky around you as you shoot down a back alleyway at 120mph.
I myself dislike the PS2 controller, but I was able to pick up and play straight away, with all the controls were I'd expect them to be. The gameplay is totally engrossing. After a steady 2 hours of play I had to drag myself away from the screen. The cars all handle as they would in real life, and a nice touch is when you crash into an oncoming bus, and the action slows down, to give you an action shot of what is happening. This brought a smile to my face. There is nothing like watching a tuned up Peugeot 206 go flying into the air and spinning round several times before hitting the floor.
Have you ever tried the build your own car games on the net? Right take that but add more. Take it to the greatest detail you could ever do possibly. That is what makes this game great. You take a normal car, and tune it. Not only the way it looks, but the way it performs as well. You can add nifty little things like neon lights on the underside of your car, you can tint the windows, you make it rev like a beast. The more races you win, the more stuff you can do with your car, and that seems something good to aim for. The better your car is, the better your rep. The rankings board allows you to keep track of how you are doing in the illegal racing world, and of course the top spot in every area gives you something to aim for
This game can be played by anyone, but will only be truly appreciated by people who enjoy the genre. If you enjoy racing of any form then I would strongly recommend this game.Total Score:- 90%

Lol. Why is it you who has to always come out with something invovling dicks?

Wierd. Ive never even heard of it before! I'm a pretty hardcore gamer across most consoles, so if I havnt heard of it I very much doubt others have as well. We'll see what sort of reviews and criticism it recieves, and if the public would be willing to move away from three established well-known, popular brands.

Lol. I quite like to sing:-
Hit him on the head with a 2 by 4,
Steal his wallet and smoke his draw -
Bullet Time. Taken straight from the Matrix. Slapped down into a excellent form of game play, with sleek control, a twisting storyline, and a loveable moody atmosphere. Now imagine that, but doubled. Doubled the Payne double the fun.
If you've never played Max Payne then you've been living under a rock for the last 2 years, and the long awaited sequel has hit the shelves this Chirstmas.
I tell you, if you enjoyed the last game then you'll love this. I've only played about an hour so far, and I'm already mesmerised by everything in it. The looks, the sounds, the story. You pick up right were you left off, as you start to explore the REAL Max Payne. I dont want to give too much away, so all I can say is PLAY THIS GAME!!!

It was probably one of the greatest upsets in gaming history for Nintendo. Game developer Rare which produced such timeless classics as ', 'Perfect Dark', and 'DK 64', has been bought out by software giants Microsoft. This was confirmed when Microsoft announced that Rare would be rereleasing the comic 'Conkers Bad Fur Day' on the XBOX platform. On behalf of the Nintendo gaming community I would like to say so long Rare, we will miss you.
Now the poll:-
Does Microsoft have the right to release characters that were originally exclusive to Nintendo on the XBOX?
