    .....I agree (not that it matters becasue it is the LAW) with you but I recieved a message last night while I was sending Xenos to their maker asking if I was alright?....I immediatly checked my chat window and found out that I had been so busy that I had missed two or three messages....not intentually but still......


    So I guess the lesson to learn here is....keep tabs on your chat window every now and then...this way you won't come up short.....

  • I Need Suggestion Please ....

    .....On how or where I would go to find out if a computer maker is lagit or worth my time. Is there a sight out there that screens what companies are good or bad so that i can have some reassurance that I want be throwing away my money when I shop for my new gaming rig?


    I'm looking at a company callibuypower.com right now. Most of the know companies like Dell, Gateway, and Alienware just do not fall in my price bracket for what i want. My budget has to remain somewhere around $1500 to $1700 dollars. Any help would be appreaciate. And for what it may matter I live in the USA.

  • A tool to manage characters?

    Now here's a thought that passed through my feeble mind.......What about a tool JUST torename a character? Would this cause a problem with bad elements? This way if you join a clan or group, you could judt rename that character. No switching weapons or money or such.


    To answer my own question, I can see, faintly, that this could cause a little confusion or abuse, but still an intersting idea. [4]

    Once, and I can't remember the system, I found a wreck that I'm pretty sure I never plundered before and got nothing from it. Was no big deal so I never reported it. I believe it was in the Sigma 19 system in the clouds to the north by the JH.

    On the lighter side.....because I have nether the skill or intent.....It would be nice if we could custom paint our ships or have nose art....but even "I" know this would be a major programing feat that would possible damage the game balance. So, like me, you can dream on..... :D

    So, irratating as it may seem...how long do we spend in the bars anyway? So if you can't tune it out in your head...tune it out on your computer. But please, do not mess with the code and possible unbalance CF! [4]

    Renegade, where as your idea has merit I have to agree with MarcBomber and Jtak. There are plenty of people who will go out of their way to help you just as there seems to be many who would intentioinaly or unintentionaly disrupt the CS servers. Just ask. [4]

    For my two cents I say let him back on at least in a probationary manner and if after a time all is well, then full reinstatement. Though irratating the off and on was that night we lived through it and hopefully we have all learned a lesson from this.....1) report ALL oddities with the program. We should all know what a ship will and will not carry. If I can carry one piece of equipment more than outlined, then something is wrong. 2) Remember just how much work goes into a mod of this size. It isn't easy to keep it blanced and up and running. Sometimes it doesn't take much to tip it off it's access. So help out by beingunderstnading. If you have never programed before you have no idea how bad it can be tracing down bugs and enomilies. [4]

  • crashing to desktop @ planet crossfire when selling escape pods

    My single palyer campaign starts out as normal (like in FL) and except for the appearence of Nomads (which I do not remember) destroying Freeport 7, so far
    cf Campaign seems simular if not the same. I noticed the other night on my single player CF open mode (which I've been playing since I came into CF, that twice while I was trying to jump through gates out or into X3034 that My game crashed back to desk top....But I chose and earlier save and Have had no more occurence of this...yet. Multi play gives me no more problems than other seem to get....yellow flag....red flag....Lag...etc.

    Standing in for the Event Manager, I appoligise if It didn't go as smoothly as it normally does. But the following were the results.....



    Dc_Dragoness & Thuban were the winners with a total of 15 Nomad weapons.


    Second place, though no prize, was Gallo! *at & PIA_RAT {GRRRR) with a total of 14.



    And third, (also no prize), was (Fallen) 114 & (Fallen) Wei_jetzt_GER with 12.




    I appreciate all the support and again appoligize for my newsness to event managing.....
