Hi guys sorry for the noob question, I just installed crossfire mod and it's been a while since I last played, I remember I need to hold down the left mouse button to move my ship but right now it seems the ship will move with my cursor regardless. How to I set it so the ship only moves when I hold down my left mouse button?

It's been a while since I played Freelancer so I don't exactly remember if it was a problem for the original game, although I don't think it is. Basically the bloom effect of the game is blinding my view, especially when the cruise engine activate, I can't see a thing and sometime just hit asteroids mid flight
Is there a way to turn off the bloom effect? I checked the option but don't see the option in game. Thanks in advance. -

If you can get to Custodian, I would recommend looking there. There are a few freighters there. None are Crossfire, but are still good ships. The Jumpgate should be near Rodchester. It may be a Clan system, so watch out on servers.
I am playing single player so should be fine. And thanks for the recommendation. I do notice a jump gate right next to Rochester station.I will have a look and see what I can afford.

Hi, I just started playing Crossfire v1.9, and I am a bit confused. I want to start trading to get some credit under my belt before proceed with single player missions, but I can't seem to find any ship with large cargo (other than rhino, which is just bad). Anyone generous enough to point me to a good beginner trade vessel to get my ball rolling? I been flying to Rochester base and trade the diamond I bought there for credits, but xenos and rogue camp outside that base, so it would be best if the ship can also take some punishment. Thanks in advance.

... have you active weapons? (in right hud need be highlighted). If are not, then ofc your mouse button will not fire.
Yes, I tried to select all of them on and off. That's not the issue.
EDIT: Ok, I reinstalled everything, now it seems fine. I have no idea why though
What I did different this time is1. Switch the opening cutscene to alternative FL cutscene
2. Switched Juni's outfit
3. Changed the menu music to top gun
4. Select classic HUD instead of crossfire one.

I tried the game without the mod and the right click works fine. This is really weird

My mouse is pretty basic, only L, R and middle scroll. So I don't think it could be a key mess up

Hi, I just installed crossfire v1.9. Everything went smoothly, I installed it using flmm v1.31. But once the fighting start, my right mouse can't fire my weapons. I can only fire via weapon groups, and if I group more than 1 weapon into the group I have to press the button repeatedly to fire. I do know it's probably not the problem of my mouse since I can set weapon group as R mouse and it can fire although still have to click repeatedly.
Does anyone else have problem fire using right mouse? And is there a fix for this problem? Thank you.
PS: I am using a HID-compliant mouse (at least that's what it says on hardware manager). It is wireless, and I am sure the mouse is in working order.
