Don't underestimate the starflyer. It's a very low power ship, but

manuverable like hell. I have allready been able to finish the single player campaing with

it on the vanilla freelancer, and can say, it's not just a piece of junk . Of course ,

anyone won't keep it for a long time in the server, but to play on SP campaing, it's a lot

of fun to face the nomads on it

For those who are getting depressed with the

recharging shields, there is a trick that always work on the freelancer AI. Lock one ship on

target, then change your shooting direction to another one, using only the secondary aim.

There is always a big lack of time before the AI adjust itself to that, and you will be

plenty of time to destroy any ship you want. You probably will have a problem if you have a

too big group of enemies, but even in that situation it's faster than shooting your primary

target.
