Thank you all for the help but I found a solution. I just had to jettison the datadisk that was left in my cargo bay from the last mission.

It works now.

Perhaps you could script it in, it would go a long way toward game stability.

Well I tried it like 5-6 times and everytime the same story.

I read all the stuff that was written in several threads around this forum and nothing helps.

I can upload my save-game if someone is interested in helping me.

I'm talkng about the second mission when you first arrive at the SOL system. You are attacked by three corsair raiders before entering the jump gate.

The problem I'm having is the crash when docking with the Osiris.

hmmm, I also get that crash and the only thing I "skipped" is engaging the hostile ships attacking me at the jumpgate leading to the anomaly...I'll try to destroy them.

About the updater. It downloaded most of the files at first but it still downloads some at each start. Is this right?
