I noticed that we waited for 20 to 30 minutes for players to get to arena for an event. In Discovery when docked at a station or planet you can type /and then a comand to go Directly to that mods place where events happen then when finished you type /return and it sends you back where you were before the event. Couldnt find anything in previous threads about it . Kinda like typing /Arena and your there.

In the beginning of the game, where you had to take down a smuggler. Basically I started to fire at him, but the bastard is too damn fast, almost impossible to hit it (at least I can't) and every 2-3 seconds he uses a shield restorer, so he's invincible! I even acquired a werewolf ship (through some questionable means), still no luck trying to get that son of a gun.

Please help, or fix that cursed thing.

Heres the deal , I had the same problem when 1.9 first was released But was called to report and have just got back , So I Wiped everything clean and started from scratch Following instructions and everything works as it should until I click Launch multiplayer or singleplayer. I get "Fatal Error -Freelancer does not detect a 3d card please try rebooting You may need to reinstall the game. Ive been looking at the threads and see that others have had the problem and solved it but i dont see a step by step fix for this . and to the best of my ability ive tried everything ive read HOWEVER, could someone Please post a 'Getting the game to get past the 3D problem for DUMMIES!" topic. I can play all the other mods with no problem. This is not the msg that you get when starting Freelancer that says Freelancer does not recognise your 3D card would you like to continue and you click ok and it loads up. I would really like to get in on the action but im not a computer savy person. Im closer to using stone knives and bearskins

On a personal scale from 1 to 10 I would rate you as a 10+. On the other hand I am probably a 0.7. although on the same scale of enjoying the mod you developed I belive im close to your level. WhenI wa son line I always helped noobies if they wanted help short of giving them too much Info that might ruin the fun of discovery , You know , like whers this or that . I played for several weeks before anyone offered me help . Im one of those people that didn't get it . Persistence is my only atribute. Im asking if somone on line in the us can help me by looking into my Computhers files to "maybe fix it " trust Chrestron, Firedragon, forlon, any one from the BG , SA , ECT .... to help. Excelent , I thankyou for replying to me. I have tried many different fixes but nothing works to get onCrossfire . I can play Discovery 4.85 with no problems. and other Mods as well. I'v got to think that Crossfire must have a Glith that prevents regular Ehthusistast to get on. thought it was My machine or techniques BUT If its gotten this complicated the average player MUST be having trouble getting to the place where they can enjoy your incredibly hard work. My question: Did the Crossfire Elite get to the place where they are too good or above the regular patawan getting off their mundane jobs , that they are disconnected subconciously from the "HAVE FUN" original Reason to develop this product line..

I know where you are and I would love to visit there like on a real vacation (Holiday ) {probably ain't gonna happen }

Please dont be angry with me, I have played Crossfire and i love it ,I have loved Freelancer since its release in 2003 or 04. I spent most of my leave trying to play but the crossfire mod wont recognise my 3d card. I mentioned my Chars as thelostone,gasss,redmoon,bluemoon, but I didnt mention Broken Arrow , my other char, (you know this OPR8R), I gave you my FL #. which is a reference to my realworld activites. I'v been called to find another "BROKNAROW" (Misplaced Nuclear Device) And didnt get close to a crossfire Exspierence. For the record "I think crossfire is the best tech. on the planet. Maybe some better help for noobs should be considered because I know whenn I was playing there were many seasoned players who preyed on finding Noobs and in my opinion running them off. What happened to HAVE FUN. Thats why I played for so long .. I call on the ones I helped as the above chars , Georgi, Jedi, Lord anakin,Disco Spider, Darklord Cerby.Segabond,Kingsize, Medicman, Asmodius, LLgoid, Nighthawk, Minimax or Bushido. When I started Firedragon, was the first to help me , he was TOD , and th BG and Forlon/SA, If I happen to get back again and try to get on I hope I get some better help> Goneagain.

I'v never played any games on this computer. My old computer was burned up and got this one just for Crossfire. In the past though I started with starlancer,then Freelancer, then Crossfire 1.82 and 1.9 when i had a fire. I got this new machine and just cant seem to figure out how to get Freelancer to recognise the graphics card . Either i am typing it in the file wrong or on the wrong line. I am able to play Freelancer without the mod activated but before it starts it warns that no 3d card is detected and then starts up.

I tried mypathtofreelancer\freelancer\exe. and find No Results so I opened freelancer and crossfire to the flconfigdatabase.txt file and inserted it in both places but it changes nothing. Im stumped and im down to about 3 hairs on my head. Im not going to give up though. Any suggestions Thanxx Phillip

Yes , when I look at my graphic cards info in the decribed fields it reads exactly- Intel (R) 82945G Express Chipset Family and the other field on the screen shot reads Device ID-- 8086-2772. I tried to insert as the instructions said - 0x2772 = "(R)82945G" but to no avail. Can someone come into my computerthrough Crossloop or something similar to help. I also tried this on my laptop that runs win- XP and get the same message of -Freelancer does not recognise or detect a 3D video card

Ive been messing with this for 3 or 4 days now I ffollowed the instructions as closly as I was able with no result . I guess im getting to the point that its not gonna happen . My device ID is 8086-2772 and my product is INTEL (R) 82945 G Express Chip Set. I dont know what else to do ??
