  • cant get into 2 acounts

    I have my 2 keys writen down on paper from my old computer. so i know the keys are corect since they worked always.


    1 key have 4 ships and some good creds and the other char have the bigest tradin vesel i found so far with 2500 cargo it also has some good creds stored.


    i would like the keys since starting up all over again will be much efort and great pain.

    Hey i got me a new computer. so i instaled windows xp pro sp3 . updated it. then freelancer and crossfire mod. now i cant get into 2 acounts of me of wich i still have the keys of. is there any way to recover them on this pc ?


    i use flidc and have mod manager 1.31 instaled. it all worked fine on all computers i used so far .


    hope i didnt loose my schips and creds with all weaponry and things. friendly greets from,

    as from what i have read so far i find that OP has done a fair job.


    Shure many will not like it, and shure it is curently a darn bad situation but like OP ment . its all gonna be fine.


    There are always people who get hurt in things like this. dont hesitate and just get an new acount since not all members of px got banned but the clann did.


    Now to be honest i would have reacted probaly the same was if i where in OP,s his shoes.


    Now please stop about it and get on with the importand part, Creating a new and beter rp world with some nice fellas wich think alike so we all can have some fun agian.


    well got nothing more tp mention about it right now so game on and see you all in space some time.

  • New Clan on Crossfire server

    Or you make new acount keys so you have multiple acounts to have chars on.


    thats what i do anyhow,


    First download an freelancer acount changer/manager and save curent acount.
    then clear curent acount. then do this:


    <win xp> go to control panel, select user acounts. make a temp new win acount with admin rights.
    go into acount and start freelancer, choose multi player yes internet , you will see the acount key tab , write all numbers and leters down including the-
    close game back to youre normal windows acount and remove the temp one. if you have saved and cleared the curent key you can start freelancer choose multiplayer, yes and internet agian. there you remove the shown acount key, type down the one you have writen down and go. now you have a new acount key to use for extra chars. dont forget to save the new acount key in the fl id changer / manager.

    Hmm sounds great!


    Maybe some extra tracks can be created and added with the launcher .
    That way there could be an entire leage of racers in diferent classes and trakcs
    It would be a great test of skill of player vs player :)




    But what about all the diferent ship classes?
    it would be no fair if an light fighter would have to run agianst an heavy fighter since the light fighter is more agile.


    Hope this will run soon, i will be shure a part of it :)

  • stuck in open sngle player mode...maybe a game bug????

    Maybe the file is set as read only?


    You can check it in the properties tab .


    if it is a read only file try to remove the read only then try agian.


    hope it works, cant think of any other problem with it right now.

    Ok i checked my own m13 file and in my case the read only tab has been deselected .
    By the way do you have the M13copy file to?


    ah you know what, il add a picture with my own m13 from freelancer so you can compare to youre own M13 list.

  • the /autobuy all on function stopped working

    ok il try if it works now, cant understand whats gonne wrong with autobuy command.

    Nope still no autobuy ....
    verry strange, i realy have an feeling it has something to do with the cloak devices or bounty system since that are the only things that are flhook commands and has changed since last night and before that it worked fine

    I noticed that now the cloack devices and bounty systems works agian the autobuy has stopped in his function


    I tryt it in system X3043 no buy
    Texas no buy
    New york no buy
    Oasis no buy.


    I have tryt it with char Jack-freeway wich has the Zx7 Crusher as vesel.


    Has that been on purpose or is this an newly developed problem ?

    Didnt know the spoiler buton worked like that. still lots to learn about this forum :).


    And no it doesnt work on any other server including those from diferent mods :).
    its realy ment for single player only .
