I have a virtualbox installed, i'll check the performance of FL if i find the nerves to install windows XP or even 98 in it. My pc is fairly old thou so you might get different results.

Nah never gonna happen Even if microsoft goes bankrupt they still will leave their code proprietary, the code can be put in the basement to die off and for nobody to use, not that microsoft needs the source. Sad but sharing is for them like communism - something scary.

i had real fun pvping in 1.6 with guns. Nowadays a pvp is a spam of missiles and CD's, there is skill in it but i tried some of the people in guns only (3 guns ppcs or dkas, no tizonas) and wiped them in a mater of 2-3 minutes, which shouldn't happen with good pilots. So dunno it was much more fun in 1.6, i hope 1.8 improves on that.

There is a point in his words. Although no DC member will speak ill of me because of my jump to CFPD. I will reconsider my actions and if i get some support i'll return to DC.
