Mission 27 controls lost while team aborts in progress jump

So in mission 27, after finding the lost rheinland ship we headed back to the Lemnos jumphole. While within range I docked the gate, at the same moment a Dom ship appeared and while I was docking, the team engaged, order me to do so to, but I couldn't abort docking the jumphole since the HUD already disappeared. After 15sec or something, the ship was still stuck in front of the jumphole, which closed by now. I still had no controls and no HUD, just waiting to be slaughtered by the Dom ship.



So it seems when the team aborts jumping, I cannot and lose all control.
