PLZ HELP!!!

    I know I am sounding like a noob, but...
    I am trying to come back to play:


    1. I installed FL, ok
    2. I installed FLMM v1.3, ok.
    3. I installed CF 1.7, ok.
    4. I activated CF1.7 in FLMM, ok.
    5. Launched FL
    6. Crossfire Mod Laucher started to work and updated only a few files, beguining with CF 54.ini, 55, 56, 57... the ambient file, the news file and the market_commodities file, then promped to launch. It took a few seconds only to do that (*).
    7. I Lauched FL
    8. Everything ok, my chars were there...
    9. I pick a char...
    8. When click to load character, it Crashes to Desktop.

    (*)I guess the HUGE LAST update is NOT being loaded anymore by the CF Mod launcher, as I remember it took sort of 20 minutes the previous attemp I did. WHAT CAN I DO TO GET THE BIG UPDATE NOW?


    NOTE: I didnt installed CF 1.7a, as I was told not to install.


    PLZ, I couldnt find the answer on the forum... as I am way outdated about everything in CF. Can someone help me plz?

    if u have not the latest crossfire setup, but an older version, u need the patch.


    also: let the launcher update itself to the latest version V1.56 before entering the server or u might crash the game not only for u...

    Ok. Thx. I will install the patch CF 1.7a then and wait until I get to version 1.56 downloaded to the launcher.

    Ermmm.... I did installed the 1.7a.
    The CF MOD LAUNCHER is version 1.53, and it doesn t update to version 1.56 no matter how many times I start it...


    ANY CLUES ?(
