  • hi everybody,

as i tried to run the activated crossfire 1.7 my Antivirusprogramm (ANTIVIR) always stopped the game with the notification of a virusalert!!!!
It found the file "HEUR/Crypted" inside the freelancer.exe of the new "EXE2"-folder that was created through the crossfireinstallation in my freelancer game folder.
Is that a bad joke? How can i play the mod? Do you really want to tell me that ive to ignore the viruswarning to continue the cf1.7 to load?
Doesnt anybody of you have the same probs?

please help i dont want to get my Pc infected but i want to play your mod

  • i have the same antivirus and dont get the message.

  • There is a very simple thing to solve this in Antivir:

Go to the "configure antivir" or something like that. Put the expert mode ON. Go to the "real time scanning" or similiar and somewhere in there is a option where you can leave a folder out of this real time scan. Just put your Freelancer folder in there and so on the Antivir wont check that folder. No need to turn off firewall or anti virus program or lower the security levels.
