Hey guys, I can't connect to the global server, and the IP adress on the homepage banner is incorrect, so I cannot direct IP to CF....Can anyone tell me what to do?

This is one of the things that'll get solved in 1.63 I hear... for the moment check the other threads. There are at least 3 places where the information you need has been posted this week

i cant believe it that noone manage to remember one simple thing:
go to your freelancer directory where yo have instal the game. after some searching, you will find a doc called "fldirectip.hta" . now, OPEN it and put THIS IP address in it and play the game:
Server IP Address is : 87.106.22.90
its the only IP from the swat portal (except if here is a server with Blasters mod), but this one IS for the CF mod
now, do as i said and play the game, and try to enjoy it

...um...m8? The banner hasn't been updated, so the IP for 25/7 SWAT Crossfire hasn't been public to my knowledge...fldirectip tends to need the IP of something

As a note to everyone, Microsoft has shut down the Global Server List. The above method or a similar one must be used to get onto the server until 1.63 comes out.

ok, i've been trying to connect for 2 hours
Global server appears to be back online, but i still have the direct connect settings that i was using yesterday, and no matter what i try, the server is not showing up on the list
any ideas what else i can try to do? I am new to the server, but i loved it so much that i just can't walk away from it now. please help.

At this point OP is most likely raking the server company over the coals :D, so take a lesson from Master Yoda and have patience young padawan
The server will be back when it comes back (hopefully not too long before that happens though)

That page keeps adjusting saying that there's 1 or 12 people online, but the server is always "rebooting".
Patience is a good thing, but i want to join those 11 or 12 people.
I'll keep waiting for a while longer.

The "User Online" bit is actually a count of how many people are logged into the forum at the time I believe.
The number of people will show in green next to the server status when the server comes back online
