    The Crossfire Grand melee with integrated CF pvp league


    Each and every Friday the CF grand melee will be run the aim of the event is for the participants to enter the chosen battle system and fight non stop for 60 minutes.


    The rules are any ship or weapon is permitted use of nanobotts and shield batteries is prohibited and all server rules must be followed


    There will be 2 categories Freelancer and clan members the winner of each category will be the player with the most kills and prizes for runners up 2nd and 3rd and also an overall event winner. The prize money will be


    20 million credits for both category winners
    10 million credits for both category 2nd places
    5 million credits for both category 3rd places
    And 5 million credits for the overall event winner


    Also an integral part of this event will be the CF pvp league. This will be calculated by each individuals kills in each event records will be kept and the placing with in the league will be decided by the kills and by event wins and runners up placing the scoring system will be


    20 points per event category win
    10 points per event category 2nd place
    5 points per event category 3rd place
    1 point per kill during each Fridays event


    After each Fridays event the current standings will be posted, every month the player with highest score in the league will receive a special prize and a medal for his/her signature

    Wouldn't it be a better idea to give the prizes to the people who die the fewest number of times? A person could win this event by simply attacking whomever has the weakest hull at the given moment. The player who did most of the damage would be cheated of their kills. Just a thought. Either way, I like the sound of this event; I hope it gets tried out soon 8).

    Well on the other hand you can undock and fight when you want - no fight no points on your count. PPL can shoot the weakest players in all other events but you can do nothing right?! On the other hands good pilots can handle more than one opponets together (yes some times ppl fire on those players with less hull but on the other hand player that is defending himself get easier targets to shoot down because its easier to shoot this players that fire at you than to shoot at someone else who fire at another player). So the question is how good you can use this advantage.

    This gives the chance to everyone to participate and it is all action during th event. Also form what i saw last friday everyone was having fun :)

    pc is right in any pvp based event some people are targeted more frequently but in this event u just undock and go back out and someone has only scored 1 point but in top gun for example if the same thing happens that person is out for that round no second chance its all over for them.


    also because the fight lasts one hour you can rest for a few minutes but its at your choice if you wish to take the chance of not scoring any points.


    after what i saw Friday night im convinced that this event will prove popular and any possible imbalances will average out over the course of the 60 mins.


    also wait until the first few league tables are posted I'm sure the competitive nature in everybody will provide motivation for lots of people [8]
