Mice Problems !?!?!?

    a good friend of me asked me for help and i'm @ the end now of my knowledge....


    heres the problem


    when the pc is powered off and he starts then is no mouseactivity but after restart the mouse works fine ???
    anyone know this broblem ???? and can help me??



    so here also my ideas to repair
    1. the mouse got a defect ? -->> now this prob is with every PS2 mouse the same.
    2. An bios problem ?? -->> no i updated the bios to the last version
    3. a windows problem ?? -->> i don't know i installed a fresch windows XP home with no change the problem is standing anyway


    so if any1 can help plz post here

    @pcfore the problem in knoppix is the same like windows
    so it seem that he had damage his ps2 port

    Hello Friends,


    I've bought a Mx Laser 1000 cordless mouse from Logitech. Nice and fine working mouse with a lot of function....


    The only problem is that i cant reassign functions at the different buttons in Fl... No more mines, missiles, cruise disruptors or chaffs... :evil:


    Did someone know how to reasign games function to this bloody mouse ! ;(

    got you installed the logitech mouseware???
    wich OS you are using??


    if you got inbstalled the mouseware you must look in the options threr you can change the different funtions off the keys


    if that is not working you musst change the keys in game

    I'm using XPHome


    I've installed the logitech mouseware... and i think the problem is coming from that ....


    Without it i can configure 5 of the 8 differents buttons, with it none ....


    I've readed the manual and nothing is expalined in concerning ingames configuration.

    if you dont use the mousware you cant use the up and down key is this right


    so you can use the mouse only as a 5 key mouse i forrgot to wrote this sry

    Since there is already a thread over mouse problems i shall tell mine then.


    Normally when FL is getting booring i play MOHAAB and sometimes in mid game my wireless mouse receiver just goes off!
    now when i push the ON button it will go on and starts to look for the mouse.
    I have to push a connect button on the bottom of my mouse so i do that but because of that, the receiver goes off again.....
    anybody got a solution?
