Shield bug? Text in space bug?

    I just downloaded and started a single player campaign. In the Manhattan System I have Red text scrolling through space explaining server and forum rules. Since I'm doing single player is there anyway to turn this off,is very distracting.


    Also have been having a problem with my full shields failing after I destroy an NPC ship. Is this working as intended or is it a bug? If it is working as intended is there anyway to turn it off for my single player game?


    Seems like a nice mod,these two issues are really bothering me though. Thanks for all your time and effort in making the mod. Any help with my issues would be greatly appreciated.

    The scrolling rules are part of the system map. That's why it appears in single and multiplayer. Normal, not a bug.


    If an NPC ship blows up right next to you, you are caught in the blast radius. It will take down your shields. Normal, not a bug.

    The scrolling Text is only near Manhatten and needed for Multiplayer purposes, because not every Player is visiting the Forums here but need to know the basic rules. You will not be long in New York while playing Singleplayer and because of the demanding Mod itself, with the CF Missions in 4 Sectors, you will have forgotten it very soon ;)
