Ubisoft has
just released details of its fall/holiday line-up and it seems that the company plans to
dominate the market with the release of most of its blockbuster arsenal within a few
months.
Brothers in Arms, Ubisoft's highly researched World War II shooter, will
arrive for the PC and XBox in late October 2004 with the PS2 version expected in Q1,2005. To
find out more about the game read the full
Arms Preview. Myst 4 - Revelation is also expected to debut on PC in early October.
Immediately following those releases, in November 2004, Prince of Persia 2 will be released
on PC, PS2, Xbox and GameCube. November 5 will also mark the release of Playboy: The Mansion
for the PC, PS2 and XBox formats.
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell 3 : Chaos Theory will
also see a November 2004 release on the announced formats, PC and XBox, although PS2, GC and
mobile versions are also expected in Q1 2005.
Overall Ubisoft is making a more than
decent bid for possession of the contents of our wallets this holiday season. It would also
seem that the publisher feels confident enough that its titles can handle competing against
each other during the somewhat crowded holiday
season.
