  • If the internet ends up switching to the IpV6 protocol, will freelancer/crossfire be able to work over the new protocol?

  • I think the server will have to work with that protocol in order to connect the clients properly. Should not have anything to do with what application is running on the server.
If the server is connecing with IPV6 then it should work as fine as it does with IPV4 :)

Isn't the TCP IP 4 or 6 just the way to backend systems are going to be connected? so it does not affect what application is running.
From my understanding its just the way how datas are going to be transported. if 2 stations who want to connect, can handle the same way, they should be able to get connected. :)

    but I dont know exactly.
