Stolen Finds a Home

  • Hip Interactive a Canadian publisher of electronic entertainment products, announced it has signed a deal to publish worldwide the highly anticipated stealth game, Stolen, which is expected to release in March 2005. Hip Interactive owns all rights to the multi-format game and property, seeing it as a perfect fit with its Hip Games catalogue.


    The expectation from the company is that the game will be the first in a series of titles that may rival the Splinter Cell and MGS franchises.


    Stolen's developer, Blue 52, has been working on the game for the past two and a half years. The team put its best efforts in achieving high quality rendering technology, including advance shadowing and lighting techniques, character animations and high-tech gadgets and weaponry.


    Stolen is a realistic, third-person, stealth-based, action game starring a high-tech female thief, who is slated to become a long-term gaming icon. The fast-growing stealth segment generated some of 2003's biggest hits and clearly has a genuine worldwide appeal. Competing in this latest genre as innovative high-tech stealth/robbery game, Stolen will generate great interest from gamers worldwide thanks to its stunning looks and captivating gameplay.


    Hip Interactive is so optimistic about Stolen that it has announced it expects the game to be one of its top sellers in Fiscal 2005, along the lines of Pariah, Playboy: The Mansion and Fear Factor: Unleashed.
