Help needed desperately

    I beg for help!


    I have downloaded crossfire version 1.82.
    I used perfectly clean install of FLLM 1.31 and crossfire, and freealncer itself.
    I hacve activated mod succesfully then entered the game.



    I had turned off 3 D sound, no save games were on my computer. Adjusted resolution and started to play.


    But when i launched to space game crashed me to destkop and didn't even show the stars :D So i never had oportunity to play this. I am using windows 7 ultimate editon, my GPU is geforce 9800GT ( normaly freelancer runned smoothly) Discovery mod was also good. But this one doesn't work.


    AND! When i enter game on bottom right corner say's crossfire version 1.00 aldough I am sure that I have downloaded and installed 1.82. Why is that?


    Please I want' to play this mod, help me.
    Please is there any ANY solution to this problem??

    ok... you actually get the menu loaded right ? it's when you try to launch to space that it crashes ?


    Remembers me of an issue i had. What i did was turn on the option for "Older graphic cards (128Mb or less)". My GPU is higher that that but it fixed the "launch to space" crash issue. Unfortunately to do this you need to deactivate the mod and reactivate it. Try not reinstalling the whole FL setup at first but if it doesnt work then you'll need to reinstall everything (no need to download the mod again because it doesnt seem to be a corrupted download of CF).


    About the version 1.00 i'm not sure if mine does that also... i'm at work i cannot check for you sorry.

    I am doinga redownload of crossfiere and doing everything from the
    scratch right now so it will not be a problem, but i just don't know how
