  • What are the dos and don'ts of Facebooking?

Friend requests. Status updates. ''The Wall.'' These terms probably meant nothing to most of us a few years ago. Now? Well, that's a different story. Thanks to Facebook, everyone from your great aunt Edna to the boy who sat behind you in third grade can now be your ''friend.'' But what happens when everyone knows - and can comment on - your business? We search for more on this brave new world.

Unwelcome friends: So, you got a friend request from the ex-best friend who stole the love of your life in the eighth grade. What if you're still not over it?

LOL: One funny video takes a look at the negative side effects of couples spending a little too much time on Facebook.

Emily Post would be proud: Need some help navigating the online waters of Facebook romance rules? This video may help keep you afloat.

Parents just don't understand: You've gotten the dreaded "friend request" from Mom, Dad or even Grandma. What do you do? (One site shows what can happen if you decide to accept them.)

Say cheese! Two men were arrested for lighting a couch on fire during Super Bowl celebrations earlier this year. (How did Facebook help catch them?)

Deadly connection: At least two killings in Great Britain have been linked to Facebook relationship status updates. (More on what happened.)

  • Thats a really brisant topic. Well people need to understand that whenever the feel to make something public they will rise the chances to being catched by everyones eyes. And its not forbidden.

If people would remind to open their profiles only for those who are friends then they would do better. In germany managers are looking for profiles on popular social networks before they decide to confirm an application or not. Its getting more and more common.
So before you open your life on the internet think twice and remind that there are a lot of evildoers outside who could make profit of your adresses or personally attack you.

Its better to meat your friends in real life - besides the real social contact its more funny and more secure than over the internet...

One thing for sure: All the security agencies over the world are watching - and we are not far away from glassy humans.
