Cant get in to crossfire 24/7

    Can anyone help tell me possible solutions because i just can't get in the server. would really appreciate anyone's help! thx! i've check my internet connection and it seems to be fine.. my freelancer sp is running fine with the crossfire 1.7 mod with the patch .. but just cant seem to get in the server. i've also let the cleint dl everything before trying to connect.     The server seems to be up and running.


    Usually connection problems are caused by firewall, so if you have one, check there.


    If that is not the problem then let us know more info, error code, what OS you are using, etc

    Also when you (re)install the mod usually you get a whole mess of updates for system ships etc. For you to play online that update must run it's course (after which every time you start your Crossfire launcher you get 6 files updated).

    hmm i think its the firewall problem.. can anyone teach me how to unblock or disable it. i thinks its the windows defender or the kapersky.. but i've already tried disabling kapersky but it still dosn't work. don't know how to disable the windows defender tho.. :p


    im using vista by the way.. is that a problem?


    and the client does download files 460something to 488 before i click the corssfire multiplayer button.
