Error 12(E-12)

Ifrst of all uninstall Freelancer and flmm....make sure all is removed by maunaly checking in C: drive programs.... make sure and saved files inside my documents are removed for freelancer......run a registry scan and Ccleaner if you have.

Then Go here: http://www.swat-portal.com/portal/download/CFguide.swf

This will provide you with the correct Install instructions for FL and CF also once installed make sure your firewall is not blockin FL from connecting to inet.

its a problem with not running as administrator?

what he means is if you happen to be using Vista run FL with admin rights...if not dont worry

[*]Uninstall Freelancer
[*]Uninstall Freelancer Mod Manager and select 'YES' when it ask if you want to remove all the mods
[*]Delete the folder where you installed Freelancer
[*]Delete the folder where you installed Freelancer Mod Manager
[*]Go to C:\documents and settings\your user\Local Settings\Application Data\ AND delete the Freelancer folder. (c:\users\your user\ VISTA version)
PS! You need to have enabled "show hidden files" to see some of the folders.

Freelancer cleans itself from registry automatically when you uninstall it correctly so no need to worry bout that^^

what firewall/protection software do u run? it needs to allow access for the launcher.
did u remove any read only attribute from files and path in ur freelancer folder?
