Hi there. My name is Taeo, and I remember absolutely loving Freelancer. In a fit of nostalgia I reinstalled it, and I thought I would get this mod, since its said to be the best, and I don't really feel like getting back into modding this game, which I did quite heavily a few years back. (by the way, side question, did anyone ever figure out how to get cloaks working?)
Anyways, while I love this game, I don't have the time or energy to collect money and exp, I just want to fly a ship around and explore without much worry of being decimated, so I will likely try to use a memory editor to speed up the leveling process immensely. Problem is, one of the major aspects of this mod seems to be the cheat protection.
Now I understand that in multiplayer, cheating is a really big deal, and I would hate cheaters there too. But I am intending on playing single player, so to sum up this entire story:
If I try to cheat in single player, what is going to happen?
