I went to crucial.co and scanned my motherboard it says i need ddr2 533, i recently fitted ddr2 667 5200 will this damage my motherboard ??

nope it just wont work i guess (or the speed of the memory will be limited to 533MHz)

it will just work on 533mhz.
which is quite low end, btw. i would check bios setting, for a possible boost. -
It'll work fine, just not as good as it can be. Go and dish some cash on a new mobo
here i got a high-end Giga-byte one for £53. -

in my country sellers take the price is $, and just change the sign to my currency [almost equal to pounds] so that 100$ = 100mymoney => and that means that we have reaaaally high prices [and really low salaries]
