  • Hi guys,

I would like to pick your collective brains. I am looking for a desktop video/sound capture software package. I have previously used Camcordia but honestly didnt think much of it.

Also I would prefer if files could be saved as .flv without having to convert.

    Any suggetions?

    (naturally freeware)

  • fraps

    free:
    FPS display
screen or partial screen image capture in BMP format
screen or partial screen video capture w/ sound from microphone or AUDIO OUT or w/out sound - max 30secs @ any fps (pre-defined or user defined)

    registered (or cracked - easy):
screen or partial screen image capture in BMP, GIF, PNG, JPG formats
screen or partial screen video capture in MPG or AVI no time limit @ any fps (pre-defined or user defined).

This is my favorite screen capture program cos it's easy to use, has customizable hotkeys (start/stop/capture), many capture options/settings, and it uses small amount of computing power.

And i doubt there's a program that films in flv. and BTW u can upload it to youtube and download it as .flv
