Seton's Clutch

The legendary Supreme Commander map. Also a show on how Supreme Commander Strategic View works.

Basically you can scroll up to the point where you can see the entire map, and down to the point you can see, say, the smug face on your Armored Command Unit. The problem is, at the full zoom-out you probably won't be able to see units' models (especially true for 81x81 km maps; Seton's Clutch is 20x20), so you see their Strategic Icons instead. The Strategic Icon contains information about the unit: the shape corresponds to the type (square - a building, diamond - tank, hexagon - bot, triangle - aircraft, upper half-circle - surface ship, a circle - experimental of any type, etc), the figure inside - the role (a cross corresponds to direct fire, vertical line - missile launcher, an arc - anti-air, etc), and number of bars under it corresponds to its tech level.
