IOC expedition: Ancient Worlds

Greetings pilots.
IOC is going to fly an expedition into the Dervon system on Tuesday, January 20.
We will meet at Triangulum Military Academy, 20:45 server time.

Allowed ships
Fighters, Bombers and Freighters. Missiles and Disruptor or Torpedos are required.


Mission
The objective is to collect artifacts and technology from Ancient Drones.
We will start at Triangulum Military Academy in Utopia system, where we will meet the IOC Train.
From there, we will escort the Train past the Nomads into Dervon and proceed to the GMG Observatory Command Module, where our fighters can prepare for combat. After that, we will go into Dervon and look for remains of an Ancient culture.
Main objective for fighters is disarming the Ancient Drones with missiles and torpedos, to allow the Train to shoot them down.


Reward will be $15,000,000 for all fighter pilots.

  • Just to make sure I understand the objective and can "prepare" properly : The fighters have to "soften" the Ancient Drones , so that the IOC Train can finish them up with his turrets to collect whatever is to be collected ? ........ and not a "simple" SHOOT'EM ALL UP ... :D

    • yes, train needs to kill some drones too for sampling. however, fighters can kill drones that run away, not required that train gets them all

    • sure, as long as you got missiles or torpedos on your ship. I recommend getting a ship that can mount class 10 guns
