If you are in MP a member of a group and anyone of this group accepts a mission and succed, the mission reward gets shared between the group members.eg. You are in sol, your friend (in your group) is accepting a mission in vega. Then it is taken as group-mission. Means that all members of this group get an even split of the reward money for that mission. But it also means that the reputation (toward NPC's) of all group members will get affected.
