Hi all. I have looked through the posts, but cannot find anything about changing read only attribute in Windows 7. I have tried it about 20 times and even though my user account has admin rights, it will not let me do it. Only reason I'm doing it is to change my resolution to widescreen, which I did easily on pc running XP. Any ideas where I am going wrong ? Cheers, FD

@ Bond - errrrr not sure how search would help here, mate ! @ Lost Heaven - when I try to change attributes it comes up with Administration authorisation required, as this user on laptop has Admin rights, I click to proceed. It goes through the changes, but after I click ok at the end, file reverts to Read only. If I open Data/cameras.ini in notepad to put in the new figures, when I come to save, it says access denied.

Grrrr - says I do not have permission to save a file there (Data)

Yay !! Sorted. Had to alter permissions settings.
