    I would suggest you remove Freelancer Mod Manager and the Crossfire mod (use the uninstall option for both), reboot, and reinstall it (place it for instance in C:\FLMM). Install Crossfire again, and notice the correct location of FLMM. Also make sure that FLMM is NOT running when installing the Crossfire mod.After that start FLMM and activate the mod.If that isn't solving the problem, then delete FL completely (also FLMM and Crossfire mod), remove old links, reboot and start over again.
