Location of clan base is not public knowledge unless clan want have it so. Clan chosen RP may play important role in this. Next reason is that base can be shifted and position is not tied with ecliptic (can be up or down the plane). Imo good way is/can be put base name into description with note that's clan base. However if clan leader rly want add it to map, then why not, but will be nice leave such decision on him.
