My experience with videos is only with WLMM (windows live movie maker) - which can be download for free as part of windows. Maybe you can try check this one ... is rly easy and fast working. Ofc on other side it not have "advanced features" which offer other programs. What I know Vishnu, Duck, Abras and Cro posted here more videos where was used another editing software.

about text scrolling speed ... can be modified without a problem. Question is only how "slow" it should be (actual version use much slover speed as my first version). I have also in mind few more small updates which will be done on this week end.
