there is one other but risky way: go to a place without NPC-s (but players must be there), like Arena. throw ur guns into space, dock with planet, switch chars and undock. in case nobody of the players stole ur guns u should be able to loot them now from space again. well, risky, like i said. because there are really mad ppl they loot ur guns, make PvP and get killed. so, guns gone. yes, happens, really.
