Thanks very much for this post as I have been experiencing the very same issue and to say it wound me up is an understatement. I even carried on playing (till I reached lvl 70 or something) as I thought I was doing something wrong!! I trawled the interweb but to no avail until I found this one topic on the subject but since I was not registered I couldnt read it!!! Still, problem fixed after a reinstall and alls well that ends well.
