i think i know what the problem is m8, but i may be wrong. when i first tried to loot the secret storage containers they showed up on my solars listing, i clicked on it a when in range blasted like crazy!! unfortunately i didnt know that they were inside the ship!! i had to find the hole/entrance into the chamber where the container was located, then i was able to loot it of its data disk. not saying you have the same situation, but its possible. Doppleganger.
