So, I am guessing that the station defenses would help protect clan and allied players from hostile NPC's near the base? Many times I have wished for this in Casius, where I come under attack by hostile corporation ships while in the docking queue. Perhaps the station defenses would also attack non-allied players near the base? The entire Conquest Model is a trader's dream!
