Windows 7 did have a codename..... although i have forgotten what it was going to be called originally. But from what i read in PC mags is that Microsoft have decided to make it easier for ppl to reconigse what OP system they are buying. All of this NT - ME - XP - Vista nameing is getting too much and for simple ppl out there (i.e. user who only want a PC to browse Net, E-Mail, E-bay and Porn :D).
