Heya Guys, after some decades i wanted to play freelancer again and saw your awesome mod!well i tried to install crossfire. but it didnt let me!Always says "Error! Can't initialize plug-ins directory. Pls try again later."Help is appreciated!I did a clean install of freelander and ffmd before. Thanks for the fast responses. Yeah probably write protection since i have vista.trying to deactivate write protection. hope it works.

Problem still remains i followed all the instructions on FAQ and deactived write-protection, while trying to install as admistrator.Any1 any clues?

Installer is running now.so weird...can only install when my comodo security suite is active..otherwise it still wont find plug-ins directory.hopefully it will run smoothly now. crashed the first 2 times, but all the good things are 3! no problems so far after 15 mins.thanks for your effords guys! hope to see you in space soon!
