  • just a note : its making its way deeper and deeper into my mind : if cops did their job at controlling smuggling, there would be no need to earn as much profit as the pirates/smuggler cause their profit would be very low... So instead of increasing yours , why not lower others' income ???? Fining unexperienced (but still above lvl40) criminals will make few millions quick too....

  • a smuggler pays around 3-4M to fill an APC... you're a police and ask a fine of 3M... the dude either pays you or lose money by getting killed. best of worlds, he pays, you win and he loses. worst of worlds, he dies and lose and you got 100'000K. Sure thats not much but while you gain nothing the pirate loses 3M... Its not always about gain, sometimes, making the other side lose its too-easy money is worth something !!!

  • suggestion to everyone who has a storage : why not try to make money out of the weapons you have, establish weapons smuggling rings (criminals) or weapons technology sharing (lawful) ? There is RP that can be made out of this problem in the meantime... Let's try not to go over a million for each gun not to fraud the n00b players. They'll still be able to have for goal to obtain alien tech : instead of alien hunting to loot guns, it'll be trading, pod hunting to afford the rare weps sold by clan…
  • Bond : we are not lazy, we have enough money to operate under level 60 without being constantly broke... Let's say that the less money we spend, the bigger becomes our variety of ships for different situations : from various classes of capships to ulti-purpose VHF to highly specialized unit... You never saw SA's fleet unleashed yet at maximum... ( hell, we havent much either cause there was a little mishap last time we tried to train... but we have the potential that's for sure )

  • 10M only ? if you've been trading Pharmaceuticals that's probably what you'll get Andreas I suggest you build a char, visit each base then buy one of each commodity and then you'll have a easy catalog where yo ucan check lowest/highest prices for each commodities... going to rarely visited bases is quite usefull sometiems cause trade routes are not only in the central systems...   • the point is : there is no balance issue. the goal is to have more money than the other side. You make them lose money, it's as good as having earned more than them in the same hour... you kill a smuggler and he loses 3-8M in cargo value. You stop him, fine him and confiscate the goods you make 5-15M. Do your cop job, it pays, try it ! Now lock this thread please !

I admit my experience is still limited but i think i am (and SA is) not doing so bad We're slowly getting in place and like i said, changes cannot be done over night so a SA might be spotted tradingBMGs again, if you see such a thing, please PM me and i'll deal with the ones who slip out of the ranks
