I am getting the above error code which I believe is caused by the fact the crossfire is not closing correctly as it leaves behind the Exe2 file. I have tried to delete it but I can't because although freelancer has closed it is not as far as this file is concerned. I can change the name of Exe2 and then the program runs without the error. I am running windows 8.1.

My reply seems not to have been accepted. So I will try again. You are right, I should have tried a restart! I did check with Task Manager and also logged off but did not do an actual restart. I have now restarted and I was able to delete the offending file and all is well. Thanks.
