I think that even some of the Crossfire content is available in Single Player Campaign mode - you will need to play multiplayer to get access to all the ships etc. In SP, I have been to some Crossfire systems but have not been able to buy Crossfire ships due to the level requirements. I have been to Custodian? Hyperion? and Sol but have not been able to enter other Crossfire Systems in SP - I either get a 'entry denied' message or the system crashes. I am okay with this - I am sure it was done …
