then replace the file in your freelancer\exe folder and do the same again. Guess as soon this is available he will take this one as its the first one that is found for the exe... afterwards windows is looking through its remainins system folders.

have you removed the other files? So could you please test if you have only one copy of this msinet.ocx file on your system - namely this one in your freelancer\exe folder?No idea anymore. Eventually you need more than just this ocx file so there are dependencies between more ocx or other dll files...

So you start the game and getting the message about not registered msinet.ocx or at any other occasion?

you can try to download "depends.exe" and load the msinet.ocx from your freelancer\exe folder into it. This program shows the dependencies of the msinet.ocx (or the dll you load into this prog). Not all missing are needed. So for me there are 2 files missing and 2 with incomplete dependencies. My FL runs even with this. But it could be that there are more missing for you...
